One of the saddest statements I hear from people is the following...

 “I do not want to understand what is happening with my money, I want someone else to manage it and I just want to see it grow.”

You have also probably heard this statement from folks and maybe you agree. It seems like an appealing idea to have someone take care of your money for you.

But what if I told you that…. that exact mindset may cost someone $100, 500K, or even $1 Million+ over their lifetime?

Would we still want to have someone else take care of it for us and pretend everything's just fine? 

Think of an activity, hobby, or something that you are super passionate about. Would you want someone to just do it for you?   

Say you love Soccer or Football or Baseball….  Would you want someone else to just watch the championship games for you and relay the information with a two-minute summary?

The idea isn’t for you to become a financial planner (as that is not for everyone) but to understand what is happening with your money. It is critical if you don’t want to find out, later on, that you had financial leaks you could have avoided!
